Job Title: Senior Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and quality in timber joinery, CNC routing, and assembly through engineering and refinement.
  • Develop and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems; oversee audits and corrective actions.
  • Design layouts and material flows using lean principles to optimise throughput.
  • Lead initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction for continuous improvement.
  • Identify automation opportunities and support digital technology integration.
  • Provide technical expertise across multiple sites, ensuring standards and collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in timber, furniture, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, jig and fixture design, and factory layout planning.
  • Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and continuous improvement experience or certification.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, ERP/MES, and data analytics platforms.
  • Experience in CAPEX projects, automation, and multi-site initiatives.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Australia.
