The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the establishment and management of the project lifecycle for the successful creation of our reprocessing facility. This role will involve coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure the successful execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the full project lifecycle for the creation of an Australian reprocessing facility aligned to our existing facility based in the USA.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of the project.
  • Create a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress against agreed measures, involving stakeholders as required.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to identify a facility that meets all requirements, including medical and regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure adequate resourcing for the project and budget control.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Report and escalate any delays or issues to management as required.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain relevant business documents and ensure alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate detailed project plans with the Leadership team, broader stakeholders, and employees.
  • Oversee the deployment of machinery, equipment, facilities, and utilities.
  • Recruit human resources, from managers to hourly paid employees, for the management of the site.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Education in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience working in Project Management, with experience preferred in a factory setting.
  • Experience with green field projects, including real estate selection, facilities, and utilities estimation and implementation.
  • Preferred experience in the Medical or Food industries.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) measurements against ESG imperatives is desired.
  • Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment managing competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail, exceptional planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse groups internally and externally.
  • Proven influencing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Driven with ability to work independently under minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Willing and able to work flexibly and outside of regular work hours due to time zone differences of internal stakeholders.
  • Travel required.
