We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work with us at our new glass factory in Yatala. This is a major investment that will see us recycle up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland glass each year, producing 1 billion bottles.

In this role, you'll work closely with our operations team to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of glass containers.

  • You'll be responsible for executing product changeovers, general glassmaking operations, and developing your skills to become an expert in the manufacturing of glass containers.
  • You'll perform all aspects of product changeovers, machine conversions, and general glassmaking operations.
  • You'll also set up, operate, and maintain a range of equipment related to Glass melting and container forming operations, such as:
  • Glass melting, heating and cooling systems;
  • Servo and robot controlled machines;
  • Infrared and vision control systems;

To succeed in this role, you'll need experience in continuous manufacturing or heavy industry, a proactive attitude, strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools and precision instruments, solid problem-solving and analytical skills, and tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field (highly regarded but not essential).
