Job Role:

We are seeking skilled professionals to provide in-home support services for individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently.

The role of a Disability Support Worker is crucial in maximizing the living, social, and recreational skills of people with a disability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Aiding clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques and exercises.
  • Supporting community engagement and participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Assisting with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Handling clients with high behaviors, employing strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • CIII/CIV Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability qualifications
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Valid Working Rights in Australia
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
  • Smartphone with internet access
