  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while employing proper manual handling techniques.
  • Aiding clients with mobility challenges using appropriate manual handling techniques.
  • Supporting clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities that promote their well-being and independence.
  • Assisting with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment, adhering to client needs and preferences.
  • Handling clients with challenging behaviors by employing strategies to ensure their safety and well-being, including the use of restrictive practices when necessary.
  • Ensuring completion of relevant documentation, recording information on support provided in client notes.
  • Working collaboratively with clients, family members, and other professionals to support the client's individual goals.
