Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day shift for our Marsden Park Distribution Centre supporting a highly valued and long-term Linfox customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse with a focus on safety, compliance, customer service, and efficiency.
  • Identify, evaluate, and address warehousing risks to drive improvement and innovation.
  • Effectively manage and develop a cross-functional team.
  • Proactively manage customer relationships to facilitate growth.
  • Promote a safety, health, and wellbeing culture while ensuring operational targets are achieved.
  • Ensure that systems and resources available are utilised to provide inventory integrity and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a complex 3PL environment.
  • Supervisory experience within a warehousing operations environment.
  • Effective leadership and people management capability, focused on team and personal development.
  • Prior experience with SAP and/or Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded.
  • Understanding of distribution processes including stock control, inbound/outbound processing, pick face management, and transport management.
  • Strong analytical skills to plan resources effectively, analyse KPIs, and identify process improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures.
