Cost Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to support our cost control function. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing cost data, assisting in purchasing and payment activities, and maintaining integrity of cost information in systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting project teams with purchase orders and ensuring they are approved and raised against the correct element within the Work/Cost Breakdown Structure.
- Maintaining currency of purchase orders, updating variations, and proactively managing closures at engagement completion.
- Processing invoices and payments for project-specific expenditure and operational expenditure, reviewing aged unbilled works, and ensuring timely follow-up and processing.
- Generating regular and ad-hoc project cost reports and transaction summaries as required from systems and tools.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience and knowledge of cost management or provision of administrative support services.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume, complex project environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines efficiently with tight timelines.
- Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with project performance specialists.
