Cancer Therapist Position
Job DescriptionThis is a challenging opportunity for an experienced and skilled counsellor to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross-site collaborative counselling service, providing support to cancer patients and their loved ones.
The role involves facilitating education, clinical supervision, and reflective practice to healthcare staff. Additionally, the counsellor will raise awareness of the benefits of therapy among other health professionals and provide therapeutic support to those in need.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality counselling services to cancer patients and their relatives
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare staff
- Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of counselling services
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, be able to prioritise workload effectively, and work collaboratively within a team environment.Independence is also essential, as the counsellor will be responsible for administrative duties, record keeping, and data collection and analysis associated with the role.
