Wildlife Advocacy and Policy Specialist

A highly skilled and motivated individual is sought to contribute to policy development and delivery of a national biodiversity and conservation law reform campaign, engaging with government, non-government conservation organisations and industry stakeholders.

This role involves collaborating with various groups to protect and promote wilderness and natural processes across Australia.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about protecting wildlife and ecosystems, have an affinity for good public policy for biodiversity and the environment, and be willing to advocate in Canberra.

About You:

  • You are driven to make a real difference in preserving Australia's unique natural heritage.
  • Have experience in campaigning, communications, political or business advocacy, stakeholder engagement or community organising.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to policy development and implementation of the national biodiversity and conservation law reform campaign.
  2. Engage with government, non-government conservation organisations and industry stakeholders to promote environmental protection.
  3. Lead on strategic interventions to advance environmental causes.
