Supervised Contact Worker

As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in facilitating safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) with their families and significant others. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and knowledge to provide mentoring to children and young people in a variety of settings, including written updates and reports. This is a rewarding role that will allow opportunities to strengthen family connections between children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, children, and young people.
- Provide written updates and reports, utilizing relevant software programs.
- Facilitate safe and meaningful family time, including non-standard hours when required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve program goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including a current NSW Working with Children's check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and complete formal documentation.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and be flexible when required.
- Current NSW Working with Children's check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Unencumbered Australian or NSW driver's license.
- SCHAD's Award Level 2 pay rates based on qualifications and experience.
