Job Title: Pool Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Pool Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and community-centred operation of our aquatic facilities.

This role involves being present, building strong relationships with staff, contractors, and the community, and ensuring our aquatic services are not only compliant and efficient but welcoming, safe, and sustainable.

The successful candidate will have experience in contract management, facility maintenance, risk management, and compliance with relevant health, safety, and industry regulations.

A key aspect of this role is teamwork, managing and mentoring staff, as well as co-ordinating the operation of our aquatic facilities.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, the successful candidate will contribute to long-term planning, policy development, and the ongoing enhancement of aquatic facilities to meet the evolving needs of the community.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma qualification in Business Management, Sports and Recreation or relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in aquatic centre operations, including knowledge of water quality management, facility maintenance, staff supervision, risk management, and compliance with relevant health, safety, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated team management and development skills, with the capacity to manage and mentor staff.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently and to deadlines.
