Job Title: Career Navigator

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals to join our team as Career Navigators. This role involves working with participants to understand their employment goals and aspirations, and then providing tailored support to help them achieve these outcomes.

Career Navigators will work closely with a range of stakeholders, including employers, service providers, and community organisations, to identify job opportunities that align with the needs and abilities of our participants. They will also provide guidance and support to help participants prepare for interviews, develop their employability skills, and navigate the complexities of the modern workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with participants to identify their employment goals and aspirations, and develop strategies to achieve these outcomes;
  • Provide tailored support to help participants prepare for interviews, develop their employability skills, and navigate the complexities of the modern workforce;
  • Collaborate with employers, service providers, and community organisations to identify job opportunities that align with the needs and abilities of our participants;
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support participants in achieving their employment goals;
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support provided to participants, and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working in career development, education, or social services;
  • Strong background in adult education and training;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
  • Passion for helping others achieve their full potential.
