Service Desk Engineer Role for Global IT Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Desk Engineer to join our dynamic team at Contract Resources Pty Ltd in Australia. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our staff and clients.

About the Role:
- Provide front-line technical support via phone, email, teams, and ticketing systems.
- Contribute to requirement analysis to enhance business internal solutions.
- Involved in Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
- Prioritize and escalate service desk requests to meet Service Level Agreements.
- Configure, install, troubleshoot, and repair IT equipment, including projectors, meeting room booking systems, televisions, and video conferencing tools.
- Monitor performance of infrastructure & systems and recommend improvements.
- Project support: ensure systems align with desired outcomes.
- Help deliver services that comply with change, configuration, incident, and problem management methodologies and systems.
Requirements and Experience Needed:
- Suitable tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience.
- Broad understanding of laptops, workstations, servers, and network operations.
- System administration and desktop support skills.
- Proven hands-on experience working on small, medium, and large-scale change projects.
- Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
- Experience in Microsoft applications including Office 365 and Azure.
- Able to work as part of a team and in unsupervised situations.
