About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Paint Craftsman. As part of our esteemed organization, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition through quality workmanship.


Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and match colours according to vehicle specifications.
  • Built and maintain a comprehensive colour library.
  • Prep, prime and paint vehicles in accordance with job sheet requirements, adhering to supplier's process.
  • Buff and denib vehicles to perfection.
  • Carefully handle all vehicles to prevent damage.
  • Note any additional painting required that is not initially quoted for.
  • Report any existing damage or subpar previous repairs to production management.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of work bays and workshops.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior colleagues when necessary.
About You
  • You must be a qualified Paint Craftsman with at least 3 years of experience in this field.
  • A strong commitment to working safely is essential.
  • You should possess excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
  • You must be able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and adhere to timelines.
  • Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Possess your own tools and equipment necessary for the position.
