As a pioneering technology company, we're changing the world of software by leveraging open-source innovations. Our platform, Ubuntu, is a leading provider of open-source solutions for enterprise and technology markets.

We're hiring skilled Golang engineers to design and implement well-tested and documented software in Go, working collaboratively with community and colleagues on technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and writing high-quality Golang software on Linux, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing well-tested and documented software in Go
  • Debugging and fixing issues encountered by users
  • Participating in code and architectural reviews
  • Collaborating with community and colleagues on technical specifications
  • Seeking improvements to engineering and operations practices
  • In some cases, deploying and operating services developed by the team

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
