Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a holistic understanding of the Australian business landscape. They will drive sales volume, revenue, gross margin, and market share in their assigned category within Australia.

This role is accountable for the tactical direction and strategic sales plans between key stakeholders at a Head Office level.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Strategically partner with retailers to deliver joint business objectives.
  • Lead annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) with top customers to drive collaboration and growth.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and manage relationships with key partners.
  • Deliver game-changing initiatives that transform categories and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales performance and deliver against targets.
  • Manage promotional spend budget to maximize ROI.
  • Build, develop, and promote a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Significant commercial experience in consumer goods.
  • A strong track record of successful category management.
  • Methodical business planning capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to mobilize teams to achieve business goals.
  • Proven delivery of sales results.
  • High-level experience of customer negotiations and dealings.
  • Degree qualified in a related field.
  • Expert Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
