Senior Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking a Corporate Services Lawyer to join our growing team on either a full-time or part-time basis (four days per week).
The role will involve providing professional support to all lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice, focusing on Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Financial Services, and Tax sections.
- Developing and implementing precedents and projects plans for the national Commercial practice groups;
- Facilitating development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements;
- Drafting and maintaining precedents;
- Ensuring style guide compliance;
- Working cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms;
- Conducting file audits in conjunction with the Risk team;
- Writing key matter summaries for business development;
- Maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Commercial practice groups;
- Preparing and delivering legal educational training; and
- Delivering style, precedents, and writing training to the firm.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law;
- Strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance;
- Advanced document drafting and contract review skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritise and project manage autonomously;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Keen interest and experience in delivering training.
