Corporate Services Lawyer

We are seeking a Corporate Services Lawyer to join our growing team on either a full-time or part-time basis (four days per week).

The role will involve providing professional support to all lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice, focusing on Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Financial Services, and Tax sections.

  • Developing and implementing precedents and projects plans for the national Commercial practice groups;
  • Facilitating development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements;
  • Drafting and maintaining precedents;
  • Ensuring style guide compliance;
  • Working cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms;
  • Conducting file audits in conjunction with the Risk team;
  • Writing key matter summaries for business development;
  • Maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Commercial practice groups;
  • Preparing and delivering legal educational training; and
  • Delivering style, precedents, and writing training to the firm.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law;
  • Strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance;
  • Advanced document drafting and contract review skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritise and project manage autonomously;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Keen interest and experience in delivering training.
