Senior Vice President of Food and Agriculture Banking

About the Role: We are seeking a Vice President based in Sydney to enhance our expanding footprint in the Food, Beverage, and Agriculture ('FBA') sectors. The ING FBA team operates across major financial hubs in the APAC region, providing you with significant local client engagement and the opportunity to build strong relationships within the Australian team, while also gaining valuable exposure to our broader organization to advance your career in Wholesale Banking.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary contact for clients, developing a comprehensive understanding of their needs and strategies to maximize our partnerships.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and increase wallet share.
- Identify, originate, and efficiently execute new transactions for the bank.
- Enhance ING's market presence and reputation through effective networking and communication.
- Ensure compliance with sound banking practices in line with statutory, regulatory, and group governance standards.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the broader ING Australia Wholesale Banking division as required.
- Approximately 7+ years of experience in corporate banking or a related field.
- Ideal for an experienced Senior Associate or Associate Director seeking advancement.
- Proven experience in structuring, credit analysis, and deal execution within corporate or investment banking.
- Knowledge and exposure to the Agriculture sector are highly valued.
- Strong financial analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with legal documentation is essential.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
- High self-motivation and professionalism with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in international banking is advantageous.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
