Servicenow Application Specialist Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Servicenow developer to design and implement scalable application solutions. The successful candidate will work across various IT modules, with opportunities to innovate and collaborate across teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable solution architectures for Servicenow implementations.
  • Configure and Customize Applications: Develop, configure, and customize Servicenow applications to meet business needs.
  • Design Workflows and Portals: Design and develop workflows, service catalogs, portals, and integrations to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional specifications.
  • Maintain and Enhance Applications: Maintain and enhance existing applications and performance to ensure optimal functionality.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience and Skills: 5+ years of Servicenow development experience; proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Servicenow scripting; experience with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and Sales & Order Management.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in Scripting and Development: Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Servicenow scripting; hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal, and IntegrationHub.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management.
