Job Opportunity

The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed healthcare provider responsible for assessing and managing patient populations in various settings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct care, counseling, and education to designated patient groups in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural environments
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement care plans based on diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings
  • Document high-quality and timely information, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries
  • Perform bedside procedures as necessary for the patient population
  • Prescribe medications according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Registered Nurse [RN] - State License
  • Nurse Practitioner [NP] / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] - State License

Experience and Abilities

  • 0-1 year experience as a nurse practitioner preferred
  • Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical conditions and interpret findings
  • Able to maintain quality control standards
  • Able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Able to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
  • Able to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
