Dynamic Administrative Professional for Healthcare Setting

Estimated Salary Range$29.57 - $31.81 per hour + 25% Casual Loading (approximately $36.90 - $39.51 per hour)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an efficient and dynamic Administration Officer to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering superior administrative support services to our clients, staff, and visitors. This position involves a range of tasks across different areas of administration, including reception services, theatre administrative functions, patient admissions and discharge processes, data entry, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative service.
- Manage reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing calls.
- Assist with theatre administrative functions, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
- Facilitate the admission and discharge processes for patients with efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and run patient/client information reports as required.
- Perform word processing and data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Support medical record administrative services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide clerical and administrative support across various sites within Barossa Hills Fleurieu LHN.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work across different shifts and locations, including weekends and holidays.
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy regulations in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
