Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery staff, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care that prioritizes the needs and well-being of each individual.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends, and have strong administrative and computer skills. They will also have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs, as well as a genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff: You will work closely with our care staff to provide guidance and support in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
  • Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes: As a Registered Nurse, you will educate and mentor our care staff on clinical best practices and procedures.
  • Consultative in case management and clinical decision making: You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to make informed decisions regarding resident care.
  • Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse: You will maintain the highest standards of clinical practice and ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Implement and support a resident comfort focus: You will work to create a comfortable and homely environment for our residents.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration: You must hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Experience in Aged Care: Ideally 2-3 years' experience in an Aged Care setting.
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently: You must be able to work flexibly, including nights and weekends, and be able to work independently.
  • Strong admin and computer skills: You must have strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs: You must have knowledge and experience of people living with Dementia and their needs.
