Operational Risk Management Role

Are you passionate about ensuring the stability and integrity of financial systems?

  • Risk management is critical to maintaining trust in financial institutions.
  • Operational risk analysts work closely with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the wider Risk Management team to ensure the effective delivery of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF).

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
  • Implement adequate internal controls to comply with regulatory requirements and bank rules.
  • Manage periodic attestation processes, including risk event capture and policy updates.
  • Provide trusted advice on risk management practices to business units.
  • Develop and deliver training on risk management skills and competencies.
What We're Looking For:
  • 1 year of experience in operational risk, enterprise risk or audit functions in financial services.
  • Exposure to APRA & RBNZ regulations.
  • Strong administration skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organised, efficient, and able to multitask autonomously.
