Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising and Donor Engagement Specialist to join our team. This exciting role involves managing annual appeals, matched giving days, acquisition campaigns, and growing the regular giving program.

The successful candidate will implement fundraising strategies across various channels, coordinate campaigns, support donor care functions, and ensure accurate processing and reporting of donations.

About the Role
  • Project manage fundraising campaigns (appeals, regular giving, acquisition) on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement Regular Giving acquisition strategy across channels including telemarketing and digital.
  • Develop and implement donor retention strategies for both single gift donors and regular givers, including welcome and retention communications.
  • Drive income growth and exceed targets.
  • Draft, proof, and coordinate content and collateral, including briefs, scripts, surveys, emails, and print materials.
  • Maintain campaign documentation and procedural records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement fundraising calendar elements, coordinating campaigns across channels.
  • Support donor care functions, ensuring accurate processing and reporting of donations.
  • Contribute to delivering our Fundraising Growth Strategy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in fundraising, philanthropy, marketing, or supporter engagement in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM or donor management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing and editing content.
  • Attention to detail, with strong administrative and data handling skills.
