Data Center Operations Engineer Role Overview

As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our global infrastructure.

This hands-on position involves collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing extensive capacity at minimal cost.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of complex mechanical systems
  • Performing scheduled maintenance on critical cooling infrastructure
  • Maintaining industrial water treatment facilities
  • Conducting equipment performance monitoring and testing
  • Reactive Maintenance: Responding to and troubleshooting mechanical system issues
  • Implementing temporary and permanent fix solutions
  • Operations Coordination: Working with operations teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Tracking and documenting maintenance work across multiple data center designs
  • Technical Collaboration: Participating in engineering initiatives and improvement projects
  • Contributing to technical solutions and system optimizations
  • Safety and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safe work methods
  • Creating and implementing risk assessments

This role is part of an Internal Maintenance Team in Sydney and involves working with world-class infrastructure, gaining extensive exposure to advanced cooling technologies and mechanical systems.
