We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Perth office, playing a pivotal role in ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people in our Out of Home Care program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective support and supervision to a team of Care Coordinators and Therapeutic Specialists
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the therapeutic needs of children and young people
- Develop and deliver high-quality therapeutic programs, including consultation, training, and support for carers and staff
- Implement quality assurance and program development measures to ensure program performance remains of high quality
Requirements:
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a leadership role in the OOHC sector
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma, attachment, and neurobiology frameworks and theories
- Knowledge of and expertise in using contemporary youth engagement methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively and work flexibly in a dynamic environment
