AOD Practitioner

Yaandina Community Services is seeking an AOD Practitioner to join our team in South Hedland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic assessments, interventions, and clinical techniques to clients affected by alcohol and other drug use.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic assessments, interventions, and clinical techniques to clients
- Accurately record and maintain client documentation
- Function as an effective member of the Turner River Rehabilitation Centre team
- Facilitate and attend meetings within the community
- Perform requisite functions related to being a 'Key Worker' for a caseload of clients
- Contribute to the organisation's continuous quality improvement and Health and Safety programs
- Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Science, Nursing Mental health or Counselling and be eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Experience working in a Therapeutic Community highly desirable
- Minimum 3-years' experience in working with clients within a case management framework
- Experience with developing and delivering life skills, recreation and educational programs
- Experience engaging and supporting people who have been impacted by former drug and alcohol challenges and seeking recovery
- Permanent full-time role based in South Hedland
