Job Title

We are seeking a senior professional to join our team as a Senior Strategic Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has the skills and experience to make a real difference.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-level advice and guidance on strategic initiatives and projects that aim to improve student outcomes and achieve educational excellence. They will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to build strong relationships and networks, and will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to inform policy development.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of autonomy and independence. The successful candidate will be able to think critically and strategically, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level advice and guidance on strategic initiatives and projects
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development
  • Build strong relationships and networks with stakeholders across the organization
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies to achieve educational outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of the strategic direction of the organization and its operations at a central, regional, and school level
  • High-level planning and management skills, with a proven ability to plan and coordinate initiatives in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience in applying strategic thinking to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in undertaking high-level consultations, collaborations, and negotiations
  • Demonstrated highly developed written communication skills, including extensive experience in the preparation of correspondence, reports, ministerials, briefing notes, and policy
