About the Role

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a leading global automaker as a Business Development Manager, overseeing their NSW network. This role will be responsible for steering Sales, Service & Parts for the NSW portfolio, ensuring the strategic business plan is implemented to achieve targets such as sales, customer satisfaction, revenue, and service revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of the operations in the Dealerships, ensuring sales, parts, accessories, and service revenue, profit, and NPS targets are met.
  • Conduct and prepare business management analysis for all Dealerships, identifying growth opportunities and partnering with them to achieve goals and targets such as Sales Revenue and Volume, Parts and Service Revenue, Fixed First Time (FFT), NPS, Marketing, Customer Retention, dealer staff training, and Workshop Productivity.
  • Pursue commercial opportunities and leverage efforts across the network to develop plans to foster growth.
  • Provide expertise in converting relationships and business development activities to actual sales and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Current or previous experience in Automotive with an OEM as a Business Development Manager, ideally with holistic exposure across the entire dealer business.
  • A proven background in building positive professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience and confidence in working with dealers consultatively.
  • Tangible results as a BDM.
  • Strong Business and Commercial acumen.
  • The ability to hold high-level business discussions with Dealer Principals and build rapport with all departments.
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Able to travel extensively.
