Key Parts and Service Sales Representative

About the Role
The Underground Mining Equipment Parts Specialist is a key position within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, responsible for identifying aftermarket parts and service sales opportunities for a major customer. This role requires a strong understanding of the customer's strategic requirements and the ability to develop and maintain effective account relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify aftermarket issues and opportunities, and act as liaison with the customer to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop sales opportunities for all aftermarket products across Sandvik's product lines.
- Perform gap analysis on existing fleets to identify sales opportunities.
- Responsible for achieving agreed-upon targets.
- Ensure accounts adhere to terms and conditions of sale.
- Provide support and assistance in following up outstanding debtors.
- Liaise between the customer and Sandvik on aftermarket issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Predictive parts forecasting through analyzing customer maintenance strategies and planning to ensure parts availability meets customer demand and expectations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a mechanical trade qualification or mechanical aptitude, as well as the confidence to work underground and the capacity to travel up to 40% nationally. A background in parts and service, surface or underground mining, and/or knowledge of Sandvik underground equipment would be highly advantageous.
