Key responsibilities of a project engineer include:

  • Developing and reviewing project management plans and methodologies
  • Monitoring and reporting on project costs and progress
  • Managing project controls, planning, and schedules
  • Procurement and subcontractor management
  • Implementing QA/QC and OHS procedures

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate, site-based project experience. Intermediate understanding and use of various software systems, including MS Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and survey software applications, is also essential.
