Automotive Refinishing Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our workshop and gain knowledge of automotive refinishing. The successful candidate will be supported by our experienced team and learn the step-by-step process of prepping, mixing, and refinishing of automotive spray painting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to acquire a trade in Automotive Refinishing. You will work closely with our team and develop your skills in colour matching, preparing, priming, painting, and buffing vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements.

You will also have the opportunity to carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet. Our team champions individual strengths and values differences to bring the best out of people, enhancing their skills and capabilities to build fulfilling careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Colour match vehicle
  • Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet
  • Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.
