As a Manufacturing Specialist, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of plant and equipment. You will report to the Production Manager and maintain optimal plant performance by conducting thorough inspections and operating heavy machinery.

You will work collaboratively with processing personnel and supporting departments to ensure that plant assets operate at full capacity, in alignment with safety and environmental standards. Your ability to respond to operational needs and complete timely reporting sustains production efficiency and plant availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various plant and equipment including front-end loaders, water trucks, HR dump trucks, forklifts, light vehicles, and bobcats.
  • Perform regular plant inspections and equipment checks to identify issues and maintain operational readiness.
  • Monitor plant performance using trends and measurements to support production targets and process optimization.
  • Complete daily plant reporting and accurately document operational data.
  • Collaborate effectively with processing teams and supporting departments to ensure safe and consistent operations.
  • Maintain full compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
  • Support shutdowns and maintenance activities as required.
