Registered Nurse Role Summary

As a Registered Nurse at our esteemed organization, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and support to our residents in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

This permanent part-time position offers a unique blend of clinical leadership and team management skills, where you will oversee and guide our Care Staff to deliver high-quality care that meets individual resident needs and expectations.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans that prioritize resident-centered care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and demonstrate best practice clinical standards in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Provide clear direction and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to foster open communication and address concerns promptly.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in aged care or community services, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based clinical practice and a commitment to delivering high-quality care that aligns with scope of practice standards.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
