Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Leader to join our Principal Investing team in Macquarie Capital.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team responsible for forecasting, P&L management, and reporting for Principal Finance. They will manage the forecasting process across P&L, funding, and capital, including outcome modeling and sensitivity analysis, while coordinating with global teams and presenting to senior management.

The role involves managing monthly P&L analysis and reporting, engaging in strategic data projects, and improving reporting processes. Additionally, the candidate will respond to deal and portfolio-level analysis requests and perform expense analysis.

About You:

  • 7+ years of experience within financial services with previous experience in management reporting, analysis, and insight in highly data-driven environments
  • Previous or current team management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients and tailor communications appropriately to various stakeholders
  • Ability to sustain high levels of performance in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset
  • High attention to detail and appreciation of the big picture
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
