
Strategic Policy Coordinator

This role plays a vital part in ensuring that policies and projects are executed efficiently, contributing to the recovery and development of NSW communities.
The Assistant Policy Officer will assist in researching and analyzing policy deliverables, reviewing alternatives to inform decision-making. The successful candidate will provide project management support services, including meeting coordination and preparation of discussion papers, briefs, and submissions, to contribute to policy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations to support engagement and policy development.
- Update and maintain documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies, and practices to ensure project delivery complies with agreed project management methodology.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and tasks
- Ability to work autonomously when required
