Manage accounts payable for a global renewables organisation in Western Sydney.

This exciting opportunity oversees and optimises accounts payable operations, develops strong relationships with vendors, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of AP specialists in Sydney and offshore
  • Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable, including processing, verification and approval of invoices, purchase orders and expense reports
  • Perform regular reviews and reconciliations of accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Negotiate favourable terms with vendors and resolve any issues or disputes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and systems improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing an AP team
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
