We are seeking a skilled Renal Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with renal conditions. As a Renal Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients undergoing haemodialysis.

About the Role:

This is a casual position working on our Big Red Kidney Bus (BRKB), a mobile dialysis service that travels to popular holiday locations in NSW. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centred care in an outreach setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and plan care for patients undergoing haemodialysis, including vascular access surveillance and cannulation.
  2. Implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  3. Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the BRKB service.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Experience in renal nursing, including haemodialysis and cannulation.
  3. Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
