We are seeking a skilled Renal Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with renal conditions. As a Renal Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients undergoing haemodialysis.
About the Role:This is a casual position working on our Big Red Kidney Bus (BRKB), a mobile dialysis service that travels to popular holiday locations in NSW. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centred care in an outreach setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and plan care for patients undergoing haemodialysis, including vascular access surveillance and cannulation.
- Implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the BRKB service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in renal nursing, including haemodialysis and cannulation.
- Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
