St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on Xavier 7 South. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care in a mixed medical ward setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Develop and maintain effective communication skills to ensure seamless care delivery
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
About the Team
Xavier 7 South is a 32-bed mixed medical ward with a diverse mix of specialties, including Gastroenterology, Renal, Nephrology, Immunology, Infectious diseases, Drug & Alcohol, Clinical Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology & Dermatology. Selection Criteria
Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency and a minimum 12 months postgraduate acute hospital experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
