Senior Civil Engineer and Senior Civil Designer Role

This is a unique opportunity for a senior civil engineer and designer to join our team in Darwin. The role offers a permanent/full-time position, with a lifestyle-friendly location and the chance to lead and deliver meaningful civil infrastructure projects.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and design, with experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering and project management services across urban and regional land development, housing & civil infrastructure for private & public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members
  • Maintaining existing and building new client relationships
  • Modelling, design and documentation of roads subdivisions, drainage, hydraulics and earthworks
  • Technical input to ensure designs meet project needs
  • Timely and budget-conscious project delivery
Requirements
  • Civil / Associate Engineering degree (recognised by EA)
  • 10-20 years of engineering/design experience
  • Familiarity with Austroads/NZ standards and Australian regulations
  • Exp. in geometric design and modeling, eg 12D or similar
  • Strong skills in design of roads, subdivisions, drainage and earthworks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Proactive approach to mentoring and team management
