This is an exciting opportunity to join a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in viral vectors, as we seek a Business Development Manager who combines scientific credibility with a hunter mentality. Our ideal candidate will have a strong scientific foundation and proven business development experience in the Life Sciences sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new leads, building relationships with global clients, closing deals, and setting up partnerships for ongoing manufacturing collaboration. This is a full 360° business development cycle role, requiring a proactive approach to securing new business and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Lead the full 360° business development cycle from prospecting to deal closure and long-term manufacturing partnerships.
- Identify new leads and build relationships with global clients.
- Closing deals and setting up partnerships for ongoing manufacturing collaboration.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop commercial collateral and sector strategies.
- Develop CRM, sales processes, and BD architecture from the ground up.
- A strong scientific foundation — ideally with qualifications in Molecular Biology, Immunology or a related field.
- Proven business development experience in Life Sciences, CDMO, CRO, or Biotech sectors with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- A hunter mindset — proactive in identifying and securing new business.
- Experience working autonomously in an early-stage or start-up environment.
- Comfortable engaging across South Korea, the USA, and wider APAC markets.
- Willingness to travel (~25%) and attend industry conferences — often solo.
- A team player who collaborates effectively with scientific, QA, and marketing teams — no egos, just results.
