Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief People Officer to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support our company's mission and strategic vision.
  • Strategic Advisory Role: Serve as a strategic advisor to our executive team on organizational and management issues.
  • Succession Planning: Lead management succession planning efforts in line with our company strategy.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet our human capital needs.
  • Global People and Culture Function: Provide leadership and guidance to our global People and Culture function, including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Review and maintain our company's workplace health and safety system.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Degree in Business, Commerce, or Psychology.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and provide advice on complex HR issues. Applied understanding of contemporary HR legislation and policies, particularly in manufacturing. Effective written communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing HR-related projects and working with international teams.
