Permanency Support Specialist, Bega

CareSouth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanency Support Caseworker to join our Bega team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting positive placements within the region and working towards the safety, healing, and connection of children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management and support services to families and children in need
- Develop and implement individualized plans to achieve positive outcomes
- Build and maintain effective relationships with community networks and stakeholders
- Contribute to a high-performing team that works across the child protection spectrum
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Diploma in Social Sciences/Social Welfare or equivalent
- Proven experience in child protection or a related field
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current driver's license and willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check clearance
