The Role
We are seeking a Caseworker to join our Bega NSW team, supporting positive placements within the region. As a Caseworker, you will be part of a team working dynamically across the child protection spectrum, from family preservation, permanency support, restoration, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability.
- Hold a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Diploma in Social Sciences/Social Welfare or equivalent.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective community networks.
- Utilise high-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Commit to Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety, Cultural issues, and the NSW Child Protection system.
- Hold a current driver's licence.
- Be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance and obtain a NSW Working with Children Check clearance number and/or ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.
