About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Caseworker to join our Bega NSW team, supporting positive placements within the region. As a Caseworker, you will be part of a team that works dynamically across the child protection spectrum, from family preservation to permanency support, restoration, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and well-being of children, young people, and people with a disability.
- Develop and implement effective support plans for families and individuals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community networks and stakeholders.
- Provide high-quality support and guidance to families and individuals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that support vulnerable children and families.
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Diploma in Social Sciences/Social Welfare or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable children and families.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and obtain a NSW Working with Children Check clearance number.
