Program Manager Opportunity

The role of the Head of AMEB encompasses strategic vision and program operations for a leading music examination board in Australia.

This position is responsible for ensuring effective project management structures are in place to support smooth examination processes, including risk and issues management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a diverse team and driving initiatives for change and improvement
  • Managing large-scale programs that deliver impactful outcomes
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to lead effective change and issue resolution

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Project management experience
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder relationship skills
  • A background in running large-scale programs or projects in a government or similar setting

Additional requirements include:

  • Current driver's licence
  • Ability to work outside standard business hours and at different locations

Candidates must be able to provide concrete examples of their experience and skills in response to two questions:

  • Provide an example of a large-scale program you have managed, and how you ensured its deliverables ran on time and to budget
  • Describe a change you have led within an organisation or work unit, and how you approached its implementation
