Job Title: Specialist Operator Trainer

**The Opportunity**: This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for training and developing production operators to work safely and efficiently on mining equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.

**Role Location**: Wacol (with extensive travel throughout Queensland)

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Deliver high-quality training programs to production operators
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure operators have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate equipment safely
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement in operator performance

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment

• National accreditation for operating mining machinery is required

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience as a production operator

• Suitable professional qualifications relevant to the machine operator training discipline

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to build strong internal and customer relationships

• Personal discipline in prioritizing workloads
