Job Title: Home Care Worker Opportunity in North Adelaide

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in North Adelaide. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication management, as well as supporting customers with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and helping to alleviate stress and anxiety.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments, ensuring our customers can access essential services and maintain their independence.
  • Work with customers who have complex care needs, including those with dementia, to provide tailored support and care.

Requirements:
  • You must be a compassionate and caring individual who is passionate about assisting our aged community.
  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a part of the role.
  • You must be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help when needed.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
