At KinCare, we are committed to providing high-quality in-home care services that enable our customers to live independently and safely in their own homes. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our customers in North Adelaide.



Key Responsibilities


  2. Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  3. Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  4. Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  5. Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility, to maintain the dignity and independence of our customers.
  6. Manage medications and assist with therapy goals to promote overall health and wellbeing.
  7. Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  8. Provide transportation to appointments and social events to promote connectivity and community engagement.
  9. Deliver complex care to customers with high care needs, including dementia and cognitive impairment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  2. A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle for travel.
  3. The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  6. Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday.
