Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in North Adelaide. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and reassurance.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and mobility issues.

Requirements:
  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is passionate about assisting our aged community.
  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of the role.
  • You must be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help when needed.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
